Open Water Diver
We make sure you are truly comfortable with the skills and equipment you will use. Getting started is easy!
Sign up for an Open Water course and start today with the Goose's Open Water Diver program. Goose's training is designed so you can learn the academics at your own pace when it is convenient for you. We will support you by colored manuals, DVDs and free Online Training offers to enhance retention through repetition. For your pool and open water training your instructor will fit you to your scuba equipment so you will become comfortable in your “second skin.” You will get enough practice time to adapt yourself to the underwater environment before you start with your open water training dives.
Once you have completed your training you will be a certified SSI Diver. SSI certification is recognized world wide so your diving experiences will be limitless
Enriched Air / Nitrox
FRIDAY AUGUST 2 @ 6:30PM
Stop by or call to sign up
The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox program will teach you how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. Diving with enriched air can increase your no-decompression limits, increase your safety, and reduce the required length of your surface intervals when compared to air. You will earn the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification after completing this program.
From the time man had the urge to explore the underwater world, the pleasures were denied to the vast majority until scuba training and equipment were developed in its present form. Now that diving is accessible to anyone, there is a high demand for people who have a passion for diving and want to share the experience with others.
For SSI, the most important step in a Dive Professional´s career is becoming a person who can train new divers – the SSI Open Water Instructor. The Open Water Instructor´s mission is to inspire and influence beginners to grow in their diving experiences with the goal of making them committed divers.
Ever wonder what happens when you exceed a no decompression limit or what is just inside that shipwreck or cavern?
If so welcome to the world of extended range diving. Many divers are surprised to discover that many “technical” dives can be completed with minor modifications to their recreational diving systems.
If you are interested in learning what Technical Divers know about increasing safety when a NDL is exceeded or you would like to see what a shipwreck looks like from the inside out – all while managing your risk and using your current Total Diving System then Extended Range Diving is for you! A complete listing of Extended Range Courses with descriptions is below.
