    The Straits of Mackinac is one of the best locations in the world to explore lost ships. Dive sites range from wooden schooners & barges to a 588 foot steel freighter, the Cedarville. All skill levels of diving are available.   Fed by the warm clear waters of the Gulfstream, we have incredible visibility and comfortable temperatures making NC Diving always top rated by scuba enthusiasts. North Carolina is also referred to as the “Graveyard of the Atlantic.” More than 2,000 ships have sunk in these waters since 1526.   The island's location in the south Caribbean produces a very dry climate with minimal rainfall.  A marine park surrounds the entire island is home to an incredible amount underwater life - the island apparently boasts six of the ten most diverse dive sites in the Caribbean.
