Enriched Air Diver

Scuba Diving with Enriched Air Nitrox

Welcome to the most popular of all Goose's Specialties!  The Enriched Air (NITROX) Diver course is the most sought after course, and it is easy to see why.  As an Open Water Scuba diver, you know your bottom time is limited by nitrogen in our breathing supply.  So it stands to reason; Scuba diving with reduced nitrogen will give us longer no decompression time on the bottom.  Meaning more time underwater, diving on what you love to dive on!  Benefit also comes in with potential for reduced surface interval, so your back in the water, scuba diving faster.

The Fun Part

From your Open Water certification, you know you can be at 60 feet for about 55 minutes.  With a standard blend of Enriched Air, you could be down at 60 feet for almost 90 minutes.  Heck, you almost doubled your bottom time by diving with Enriched Air.  See why so many divers are taking the Enriched Air Specialty course?

Your Next Adventure

Diving with Enriched Air (Nitrox) benefits all types of diving, but it goes especially well with these specialties:

Wreck Diver Course= Popular wrecks tend to be deeper, so enriched air nitrox maximizes your exploration time.

Deep Diver course= The deeper you dive, the shorter your no stop time - but with enriched air nitrox increases it, giving you more time at depth.

Digital Underwater Photographer= Photographers usually like to make several dives so they can get lots of pictures.  Enriched air nitrox reduces the amount of residual nitrogen you accumulate, allowing repetitive dives to be longer.

Master Diver= The PADI Enriched Air Diver course counts towards your Master Diver rating - the highest non professional rating in recreational diving.
